The path to Obi Qashqa begins not only with physical exertion, but also with the discovery of the true name of the peak. For a long time, this place, which was called “Okhotnichiy” or “Hunters’ Peak”, has a real Uzbek name - Obiqashqa, which means “clear, crystal water”. This path, passing between the murmur of Gulkamsoy and the eternal snows of “Muzkhona”, is truly a place of the cleanest springs and crystal clear streams, as its name suggests. The jagged rocks that appear in the last part of the journey and the dangerous path, only a few meters wide, leave a person face to face with the true power of nature. Here, the high mountain air, the tracks of wild bears and wolves, and the feeling of infinity from the peak will turn you into a true child of the mountains.
